Technology

  • Walk into any classroom at any grade level in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, and you will find a host of different types of technological learning tools in use.
  • The EVSC utilizes a one-to-one computer device in grades 6-12. At AIS, students have individual Chromebooks to use in each class.
  • All classrooms utilize interactive white boards along with enhanced audio systems to ensure all students hear teachers clearly, as well as document readers that can be displayed on the interactive white boards.
  • At AIS High School students are eligible to take self-paced courses online with teachers supporting them as needed; this allows students the opportunity to earn more than the normal number of credits each semester.
  • Most AIS High School students are taking 9-week courses where the class and teachers move through the coursework together and complete the course in one quarter.
