School Wide Expectations:
In All Settings
• Keep hands, feet and all objects to yourself.
• Follow all emergency and severe weather procedures.
• Listen to others’ ideas/opinions without negative comments.
• Use positive language (no profanity or teasing).
• Communicate respectfully in word choice, tone, and volume.
• Leave all objects where they belong.
• Be truthful in all situations.
In the Classroom
• Stay in your seat unless excused and monitored by staff.
• Participate (listen, ask questions, attempt assignments).
• Be helpful to others in need.
• Do your own work.
In the Hallway
• Walk (do not run or jump) on the right side.
• Be on time to class.
• Use quiet, inside voices.
• Respond in a calm and polite manner when any staff member speaks to you or stops you.
In the Cafeteria
• Wait in line patiently.
• Stay in your seat until you are dismissed.
• Clean up after yourself (tray, leftovers, chair table).
In the Restroom
• Wash hands using soap and water.
• Keep your time in the restroom brief.
• Wait for an escort before leaving to use the restroom.
In the Office
• Work patiently on any task given to you.
• Use appropriate tone of voice and volume.
• Follow office staff’s instruction.
If students follow the expectations…they increase their chances of learning and earning their credits.
If students do not follow the expectations...there are a series of consequences in the classroom that could lead to a visit to the office where building level administrators will utilize a different set of consequences.
